Good Old Fashioned Service How It Should Be!! It is very rare these days that we get treated as we should be, or indeed do we take the time to recognise good customer service, however, from our initial show room visit and conversations with “Matt”, the property visit and subsequent estimate from “Richard” the installation and even account payable my wife and I are unable to find fault with the excellent customer service we have received from the Heatstore Limited in Studley. Nothing at all was too much trouble, Matt took the time to actually listen to our requirements prior to suggesting any stoves, he took us through the pro’s and con’s of the stoves he had short listed that met with requirements. In the end the stove that ticked all the boxes for us was the Contura 51L and far from the Morso Badger we had envisaged we wanted prior to speaking with Matt. Even the installation engineers went above and beyond the call of duty. We have a TV aerial on the chimney, although not fixed, the cable ran across the roof and dropped to the rear of the house, we asked whilst they were up doing the chimney lining if they would mind pulling the cable from across the roof and leave it running straight down from the Chimney which they duly did without question. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, polite, courteous and a true credit to the Heatstore Limited. In short, the Heatsore limited offer good old fashioned customer service, where you as the customer are truly valued. We Highly recommend this company.

We’ve been in our present house for nearly four years, and inherited a large woodburner. We used it a lot, but it became clear that it wasn’t quite what we needed. It was very old – obsolete, in fact, so spares were no longer available; it was too big– far too much heat, even on a cold day; and it was difficult to regulate. We started to look for an alternative, and something that ran on bottled gas seemed like a good idea. Internet research pointed us to Heat Store, which has showrooms in Charlbury (Oxfordshire) and in Studley (Warwickshire). The Studley showroom seemed to have a wider selection of gas stoves, so that’s where we went. We were met by Debbie, who proved to be the ideal salesperson. She was well informed, but not pushy in the slightest. She had the sense to let her excellent products sell themselves. The best part of her presentation was to ask which of two stoves, both running, was gas powered and which was burning wood. I got the answer wrong, which says a lot for the convincingness of the flame effect. With her help, we chose a Firebelly as the most suitable. We couldn’t have the one we really liked, as it needed an external flue, and our existing flue is internal, but we’re still pleased with the choice. The next step was to have a survey to support a quote for installation. Richard visited, on time, and with minimal fuss explained what would be involved in installing the stove. We didn’t have gas at the time, but another local installer fitted the valves and pipework for a two-bottle system. Richard also recommended a new liner and cap for the existing flue. The original was quite old, and it was better to be sure that the installation was as good as it could possibly be. On installation day, the two fitters, Paul and Jim, arrived on time and got straight to work. They removed the woodburner, and saved us a lot of effort by taking it away with them. Everything went smoothly, despite very little in the fireplace being square or level, which made fitting the protective wall panel more a work of art than a simple fixing. After a few hours the job was done, and Paul took us through the instructions for managing the stove. I was most surprised by how easy it is to control via a small remote control – that feels like pure luxury. All in all, this was a very satisfactory experience, and I would certainly use Heat Store again.
